Plot

Bindiya, a small town, is ruled by Davan’s family. Bada Davan, the head of the Davans, is arrested. To fill the vacuum, Chhote Davan, his younger son, takes essential steps. After his entry, tensions arise within the family, creating chaos. Who’ll carry out the legacy? Who’ll come into power and fill Bada Davan’s place? The rest of the series speaks about this.

Star Performance

Saurabh Shukla, Seema Biswas, Ranvir Shorey, Sheeba Chaddha, Sushant Singh, Govind Namdev, and Sai Tamhankar did their roles well.

Analysis

Raj Amit Kumar attempts to bring a layered crime saga, but he didn’t succeed. Too many characters are created, and subplots are not shaped up properly. Too many things are stuffed, making the plot a mess. Similar types of stories had been successful due to their compelling stories and perfect narration. But that’s not the case here. The story is not developed well. The dialogues are okay, but they didn’t create any impact. The makers tried to inject dark comedy to boost the screenplay, but it didn’t create the effect.  The art direction is quite decent. The visuals are impressive. However, the series didn’t provide the satisfaction that similar genre series provided.

Despite a promising premise, the story didn’t elevate much due to weak narration and underwritten characters. However, the performances make it watchable once!
